Leafy plant from saxifragaceae family, useful for ground cover in dry shade where acanthus and euphorbia can take over. Good drainage and neutral to alkaline soils preferred.
Garden cross between Helleborus sternii and H. niger, these are division grown plants from our collection. Few only.
Temperate plant for dry shade with attractive silvery felted leaves, and ground covering habit. Best in well drained soil near trees, also a fine container plant.
Unusual deciduous violet with purple flecked flowers, likes leafy moist soil in shade.
