Penstemon barbatus
Evergreen rosette-forming penstemon with a tidy appearance and tall spikes of apricot flowers from summer to autumn.
Perovskia atriplicifolia
'Russian Sage'; attractive blue flowers over grey foliage in mid summer onwards. An extremely drought hardy and frost hardy plant that likes well drained soil. Good for hedging and cottage garden with Lavandula 'Hidecote', Iris and blue geraniums.
Persicaria 'Fascination'
A good plant for medium to heavy soils, flowering in summer with sedums, echinacea, rudbeckia and heleniums; fills nicely in the perennial border and amongst ornamental grasses

Persicaria 'White Eastfield'
The best white persicaria we have tried, as with Taurus and others, these will flower in summer but good much and soil fertility will ensure their best performance. Waist high or fraction higher in moister conditions, basal foliage with drifts of vertical white spikes. We like to plant these in clumped groups of 5 or 9 at 25cm spacings for best effect.

Spreading perennial for moist areas with attractive musk-pink drumstick flowers in summer. Best result in cooler climates with morning sun on fertile soil.
Phlomis russeliana
An herbaceous Phlomis with large heart-shaped leaves eventually forming a large clump 1 metre across. Whorls of lemon yellow flowers on thick upright stems during summer followed by attractive seed heads. Very tough once established.
Phlox 'Emerald Cushion'

Ground covering alpine plant for rock garden or above a dry-stone wall. Rich pink flowers completely cover the entire plant so foliage is obscured, protect from excessive winter wet.
Phlox subulata 'Amazing Grace'
Low mounding perennial for foreground colour, useful ground cover when mass planted at 25cm spacings under roses and along pathways. White form with pink eye, long flowering. Combine with dianthus helianthemum and miniature bulbs.

Superb purple foliage plant for warmer areas. Combine with heleniums, echinaceas and rudbeckias.

Rare woodland perennial from Taiwan vaguely resembling a Trillium. Humus rich drained soil in complete shade is essential for good results.

Beautiful silver variegated form of the "Solomons Seal", each leaf lined with a white line around its outer edge. Easy to grow in shade under trees and shrubs.
