Eupatorium maculatum 'Gateway'
Spectacular background border plant, where it will make a good show during summer with sufficent moisture. Attractive flowers in clusters, purple stems like Angelica gigas.
Helianthemum 'Apricot Queen'
Ground covering plant, ideally suited to a sunny position in a border or rock garden. Allow to dry out in summer once established, peach and apricot flowers like old fashioned roses.
Helianthemum 'Strawberry Red'
I love helianthemums for their abundant flowering, and superb ground covering abilities in poor growing conditions. We found this as a chance seedling and thought it was worth naming and propagating.
Kniphofia 'Green Jade'

Origanum rotundifolium
Special unusual mounding variety from mountains of Turkey and Armenia, for the rock garden or border. Likes it rocky but fertile and ensure drained not acid soil and plenty of grit, very cold tolerant and tough once established. Flowers start green then age pink with onset of cold nights.
Phlomis samia
An excellent tall perennial for a sunny dryish position with spikes of interesting whorled beige-pink flowers. Cut back to crown after flowering to rejuvenate.Only a few in stock so order early.

Sanguinaria canadensis
Bloodroot. An ancient perennial and medicinal plant used by the native American people, it is very toxic and should not be used without professional consultaton. We grow it as an ornamental groundcover in woodland with hostas, epimedium and dicentra, it is deciduous with white flowers.
