A brilliant low grass with outstanding flowers and seedheads, suitable for massed foreground plantings in landscape design work or in clusters amongst other perennials. A slender plant so plant closely at 25cm for best results. Not self seeding in our trial stockbeds.

Lovely variety with flower spikes in peach and apricot tones, like the colours of old fashioned roses. Clumping habit and long flowering.
Low mounding perennial for foreground colour, useful ground cover when mass planted at 25cm spacings under roses and along pathways. White form with pink eye, long flowering. Combine with dianthus helianthemum and miniature bulbs.

White flowered delphinium. Classic old-fashioned cottage garden plant and cut flower, plant in a protected spot on well drained fertile soil and these will flower year after year. Squash any nearby snails when the shoots first emerge in spring.

An attractive variety with tangerine to red single flowers, we love these for summer colour with rudbeckia, sedums and echinacea.
Pretty variety that begins soft yellow then fades as the flowers age. Prolific flowering during winter, liking drained soils and drying out a little in summer. Cut back fairly hard early summer to around 2/3 to half height to keep compact. Looks terrific in mass plantings like all the wallflowers.
Terrific tall variety, white flowering. Basal foliage produces dozens of 2m flower spikes, superb summer flowering background, plant in heavier fertile soil, shorter in less ideal conditions.
A vigorous semi double windflower for part or full shade, spreads well in mass planting or individually in shady garden corners or under deciduous shrubs. Flowers late summer.
Dome-forming clumper for the rockgarden or border, flowering profusely during summer with mounds of purple bells. Non-invasive and generally tidy when not in flower. Dislikes acid soil.
Old fashioned spreading grey foliage plant for amongst roses and perennials. Easy and dry tolerant.
Pink form of Astrantia major: a good companion for hostas and dicentras in woodland.
