Pure white Japanese wind-flower for shaded woodland plantings. Not fast to establish but vigorous and low maintenance once fully grown. Mulch well, and trim lightly after flowering.
Beautiful variation of the species from Crete, originally from Marcus Harvey. Winter flowering, and a great compact structure plant in rock gardens amongst dwarf bulbs and cyclamen. Low mounding shape with grassy foliage , cold and drought hardy, long lived and only 25cm high. Overall great plant.
Prolific carpeting ground cover flowering in spring, along with phlox, auriculas, and pulsatilla. They look best tumbling over a wall or in a rock garden where they get good sun and drainage.

A recent introduction by us is this sedum from my mothers garden, with white flowers, which is an unusual colour in the world of sedums! As with other sedums, easy to grow in full sun position in most soil types. Rarely but occasionally these can produce a pale pink sport, which should be removed with a sharp knife at the crown at the time of flowering.
A recent release from our trial beds, begins as brighter musk pink then fades to soft pink then eventually cream, subtle and lovely and multicoloured tones as the flowers age. Easily cultivated like other yarrows in full sun.
