Pure white Japanese wind-flower for shaded woodland plantings. Not fast to establish but vigorous and low maintenance once fully grown. Mulch well, and trim lightly after flowering.
Classical double white border carnation, with good fragrance and vigourous growth. Long lasting plant for rock garden or border. Cut back occasionally.
A handsome plant with attractive palmate foliage on straight stems, topped with 30 cm spikes of pale pink Veronica flowers. Best in a moist fertile spot.
A cold tolerant highbush variety with a long fruiting period, reputedly self fertile, however combining varieties improves pollination generally.
Spectacular clumping Iris for pond sides and moisture retentive soils, big blue flowers in summer. For grouped plantings plant 20-25cm apart for best results.
A striking biennial for shade, forming strong mounds of good foliage and normally flowers in second or third year once the plant has acheived maturity, after which it will self seed. This is the rarely offered white form, the common form is pink.

A beautiful low compact variety for edging or foreground, virtually evergreen and flowers for a long time. Prefers heavier moisture retentive soil types, and a cooler position is best although will take both full sun or part shade.
A pretty and long flowered plant for a damp soil in a sheltered position forms a nice clump. Grows well amongst other perennials or under roses.
Attractive dark stemmed form of Hydrangea macrophylla, flowers can vary from blue in acid soil or pink in alkaline. Old fashioned mop top flowers, good for floral work.
Attractive mauve colour distinct from the usual pinks and blues, cultivation as per other nemorosa varieties, will repeat flower on good soil if trimmed hard after first flowering.
Floriferous South African dwarf bulb for the rockgarden and containers. Easy and prolific, very colourful in spring, combine with thymes, cyclamen, and miniature daffodils.
Pretty variety with numerous sprays of lilac flowers, very prolific in autumn.
