I love helianthemums for their abundant flowering, and superb ground covering abilities in poor growing conditions. We found this as a chance seedling and thought it was worth naming and propagating.
Temperate bromeliad from Chile for sunny well drained position, also good in pots. The grey green rosette transforms to brilliant red when the wonderful azure flower appears. Likes winter wet and summer dry in our climate. Avoid clay.
Reddish purple foliage variety; flowers in mixed colours from orange to red. A welcome addition to the summer border, providing some colourful foliage variation.
This variety is particularly good in autumn when the seedheads elongate and stand above the foliage. Another tall variety for behind the border, best cut down to ground level every few years.
Soft primrose yellow yarrow, good for floral work and cottage gardens. Easy to grow, perennial. Also referred to in herbal medicine, said to aid in the relief of colds and chest complaints.
A medium salvia for full sun positions with an interesting purple calyx surrounding the blue flower. Fine leafed foliage.
Deep cobalt-blue flowers on tall stems. Delphiniums love horse manure and require sheltered sunny conditions to do their best.
Our own variety which we have multiplied from division, flame orange fading into chesnut brown.
Selected form of Eucomis comosa, with pink tinged flowers and purple buds. A beautiful and striking perennial, both for foliage and flowers, best grown in a mixed herbaceous border or in a pot with good drainage. Requires good drainage and fertility.
Our own selection, it has taller stems than our other cultivars with wider leaves; a neat evergreen plant with grassy foliage for the border or cottage garden. It has a long flowering period and the long stems make it suitable for floral work.
Low carpeting silver foliage cotton lavender, resembling a compact version of Santolina chaecyparissus. Brilliant in gravel gardens and mediterranean style plantings when combined with grasses, euphorbia, rosmarinus and erysimum.
Portugese form of the pink rosemary, more true pink than Majorca pink and less upright, bushier and lower growing.

White flowers with a blush of orange on the outer edge. Beautiful and unusual. Autumn stock pre sold but we will have more ready after July.
The silvery foliage in combination with the abundant single soft pink flowers creates a lovely effect. Like a wild rose but much easier to look after and without the thorns.
