An old fashioned cottage garden variety, long in circulation but now at the risk of disappearing along with so many other varieties. Cushion forming clumper, for border or rock garden, attractive two toned semi double flowers in crimson and pink.
Cushion plant suitable for thyme lawns, trough, and rockgarden plantings with pink flowers. Aromatic when crushed.
Old fashioned blue campanula with tall stems forming a nice clump in time. Ideal between roses and a good cut flower.
Ornamental origanum with purple flowers, most valued for floral work, and its long flowering period in the summer border. Mild flavour, can also be used in various lamb and poultry dishes.

Attractive cottage plant and popular medicinal plant also. Easily grown in well drained soil, best with added fertiliser.
