Aster 'Eventide'
A large flowered rich blue purple aster that flowers late summer. Stout stems and self supporting, grows well in meadow plantings amongst grasses and other perennials such as delphinium, echinacea, and scabiosa.
Our own selection, it has taller stems than our other cultivars with wider leaves; a neat evergreen plant with grassy foliage for the border or cottage garden. It has a long flowering period and the long stems make it suitable for floral work.

Temperate bromeliad from Chile for sunny well drained position, also good in pots. The grey green rosette transforms to brilliant red when the wonderful azure flower appears. Likes winter wet and summer dry in our climate. Avoid clay.
A beautiful variety for mediterranean themed gardens and one of our favourite matt forming perennials. The silver foliage is evergreen and creates a good low ground cover for edges and foreground plantings. Added to its attractive appearance, easy cultivation and a long flowering period makes it a great plant for Australian gardens.

Native to the Black Sea and southern Georgia, a fine evergreen iris rarely seen in Australia. Grow in a cottage garden or perennial border setting, where it will produce blue flowers in mid winter. Visually very similar to Iris unguicularis flowering a few weeks later here in winter, however broader bladed & overall better foliage.
