Dwarf "Solomon"s Seal" for the woodland garden or shady rockgarden. Spreads to form a mat.
Late summer flowering variety with fine petalled soft blue flowers, clumping and non invasive. Combine with deschampsia, echinacea, sedums and eupatorium.
More sun tolerant than other hydrangea varieties, but adaptable to part shade also. Beautiful deciduous variety with densely clustered white panicles in summer. Lovely feature plant behind perennials with deciduous viburnums, or grouped in woodland settings.
Early summer flowering resembling a blue aster, but flowering for much longer period and all round more contained and well behaved. Likes fertile drained soil

Old fashioned cottage plant with intense blue flowers, easily grown but best in clay based soil.
Large fleshy leafed variety with orange bells during winter. Easy in coastal gardens, good in pots and perennial plantings; a useful texture plant to combine with other succulents. Keep dry in winter.

My friend Paulette grew these from seed, and these are cutting raised plants from selected seedlings. Apparently the flowers are edible, I love the perfume and they flower forever with no fuss. Best in border or rock garden, rich pink flowers.
A wonderful lime green variety, which visitors always comment on when in flower. A tidy plant that flowers for a long time and doesn't get too tall for the border.
A recent introduction by us is this sedum from my mothers garden, with white flowers, which is an unusual colour in the world of sedums! As with other sedums, easy to grow in full sun position in most soil types. Rarely but occasionally these can produce a pale pink sport, which should be removed with a sharp knife at the crown at the time of flowering.
Profuse flowering echinops producing blue globes on long stems perfect for cut flowers or drying. In high demand for the perennial border or cottage garden, if sold out please ask, we probably have more in production!
A wonderful variety with large white flowers like Romneya coulteri, unfortunately difficult to propagate so only a few.
A low, spreading variety for the border, rockgarden or drystone wall. Lots of thimble sized nodding white bells in mid-summer.
