Lavandula 'Hidcote'
The best dwarf "English" hedging lavender, which only grows to 60 cm or so. Trim after flowering to encourage bushy plants. Long-lived and not messy like other varieties.
Hydrangea 'Nigra'
Attractive dark stemmed form of Hydrangea macrophylla, flowers can vary from blue in acid soil or pink in alkaline. Old fashioned mop top flowers, good for floral work.
Thymus vulgaris
Culinary thyme; we use this around the garden as a summer flowering ground cover together with Thymus "Minimus". Great around rocks, in the herb garden or in the border.
Dianthus 'Cherry Splash'
Semi double white flowers with dark cherry centre, cushion forming. Useful frost and drought hardy plant for rock garden or perennial border.
Aster 'Woods Blue'
Late summer flowering variety with fine petalled soft blue flowers, clumping and non invasive. Combine with deschampsia, echinacea, sedums and eupatorium.
Paeonia 'Coral Charm'
Stunning double flowered paeonia requiring rich well drained soil in full sun, young plants often takes a year or two to establish but eventually form large clumps; we recommend removing first flowers to hasten establishment.
Diplarrena moraea
Tasmanian native flag iris, useful in combination with grasses and perennials. Lovely and abundant white flowers in spring, evergreen leaves and drought hardy.
Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
A Sedum spectabile cultivar with dark terracotta red flowers. Upright habit, always reliable for late summer and autumn colour.
Viola 'Conte di Brazza'
Remarkable double white parma violet, sweetly perfumed and delicious. Plant as ground cover in shade under trees, combine with helleborus, anemone, dicentra, and epimedium. Similar to 'Swanley White' but as we have collected these from different sources we have listed separately.

Tight mat forming ground cover, with attractive foliage. Suitable for green wall or rock garden.
Aeonium canariense
Sculptural succulent from the Canary Islands with attractive lobed foliage. Grows well in a pot on the deck in a sunny spot.
Iris sibirica 'Silver Edge'
Still one of the most graceful cultivars with deep blue flowers edged silver.
Corydalis flexuosa
Low growing plant for shade or part shade, with spreading ground covering habit and porcelian blue flowers. Prefers open textured soil and easily divided once established, combines well with other woodland plants like anemone, rodgersia, and epimedium.
Sedum 'Dark Magic'
Brilliant new variety with dark foliage ; strength and upright growth habit of 'Matrona' but the darker foliage of 'Purple Emperor' and red flowers.
Podophyllum pleianthum
Rare woodland perennial from Taiwan vaguely resembling a Trillium. Humus rich drained soil in complete shade is essential for good results.
