Long flowering plant with vibrant deep red flowers during summer. Easy in meadow plantings or cottage garden.
Allium like plant with pink flowers and grassy foliage, tough and long lived, often used in cottage gardens and border plantings
Slender wiry stems topped with lolly pink pompoms about the size of a mulberry, flowering for months in summer. Like other sanguisorba they are drought tolerant, but like some clay below the surface.
My friend Paulette grew these from seed, and these are cutting raised plants from selected seedlings. Apparently the flowers are edible, I love the perfume and they flower forever with no fuss. Best in border or rock garden, rich pink flowers.
An interesting variety that begins white with a blue eye, then fades to a soft pink as the flowers age. As with other asters, strong and reliably flowering late summer. Upright bushy non collapsing habit.
A nice variation of Campanula latiloba with lilac flowers and upright flower spikes, showy but can be very spreading.
Abundant lime green pokers over mounds of dark green foliage. Summer flowering.

A wonderful texture plant for the border, with literally hundreds of dark purple pompoms on tall stems in late summer. Not fussy, and flowers over a long period.
One of the few primrose-coloured salvias, medium height and prefers part shade. Combines well with perennials in the summer border or between roses.
Similar in appearance, but a better all round garden plant than Geranium 'Pink Spice'; most useful as ground cover between roses and amongst taller perennials. Pewter purple grey leaves and pink flowers; vigorous like 'Mavis Simpson'. One of the best varieties.
A mound-forming sub alpine species with sweetly fragrant soft pink flowers. Useful amongst gravel and stones, petite compact form.
A wonderful lime green variety, which visitors always comment on when in flower. A tidy plant that flowers for a long time and doesn't get too tall for the border.
We originally raised this from a batch of wild seed collected for us by some friends in Prebbleton New Zealand. We have reproduced these from cuttings, as special charachteristic is better vigour than the usual insignis seedlings. Leaves are olive green with a hint of grey, branching bushy spectacular shrub with white flowers for a sunny alkaline well...
