Our own double purple which we have increased from division. Best in well drained conditions in a pot or the rock garden.
A lovely species from Greece, useful as a ground-cover for part-sun with attractive velvety leaves. All the attributes of above with white flowers and contrasting red stamens. The foliage colours well in cold winter areas.
Spreading ground covering deciduous perennial for shade, with leaves like a small epimedium, soft yellow flower. Combine with dicentras, hellebores and pachyphragmas. Drought tolerant once established.
Campanula punctata type with semi double flowers, tall panicles, elegant and lovely. Spreading habit, frost and drought hardy.
Attractive alpine from California favouring rock crevices dry sunny conditions. Protect from excessive winter wet, ideal in a drystone wall. Colour range from pink, white to apricot.
A shorter more compact form of the tall officianalis equally hardy and prolific, only growing to 80cm. Purple pom poms throughout summer, a good improvement for windy locations.
Pretty variety that begins soft yellow then fades as the flowers age. Prolific flowering during winter, liking drained soils and drying out a little in summer. Cut back fairly hard early summer to around 2/3 to half height to keep compact. Looks terrific in mass plantings like all the wallflowers.

A versatile rush from South Africa that will grow in a surprising range of conditions. The tall foliage is particularly good all year round, and the new growth resembles bamboo. Good for structure amongst herbaceous plants.
Tasmanian native flag iris, useful in combination with grasses and perennials. Lovely and abundant white flowers in spring, evergreen leaves and drought hardy.
A mix of our lupin colour range, from white to reds, pinks, blues and purples.
Tall perennial with deep indigo blue flowers in autumn, loosely resembling a Delphinium in form. Useful because of its tolerance to clay soils and later flowering.
Soft grey foliage spreading ground cover for most soils and dry conditions. Will fill nicely amongst verbascum, geraniums and carpet under roses.
One our favourite new grasses, waist high flowers with rich green foliage, creating good mounding fill and texture within summer perennial plantings. Grows best on heavier fertile soils, and responds well to moisture in summer if available, but not overly demanding.
White form of this excellent ground cover for shade, flowers age to very pale pink. Easily grown under trees where it favours dryish soil once established.
Firey orange red calceolaria, long lived perennial variety with shrubby growth like salvia or santolina. Trim after flowering to maintain shape and vigour.
